Stage 8:
Åsele to Storuman (100 miles)

From the shortest stage to the longest stage in one swift move, racers stay in Lapland as they head towards the impressive lake at Storuman. The town itself is a little larger than our last checkpoint, with a population of around 2,400 muggles. The overall population is actually higher though, as there is a constant rotation of wizards in the area as the famous Swedish Shortsnout reservation is in this area. Wizards at the reservation have a grand view of Lake Storuman from the Stensele Mountain and it's viewing platforms.

Since this is the longest stage in the race, there's the opportunity for you to make up oodles of time on the way to Storuman.
