Essay Questions - 5 points each
1. What other Hogwarts subject NOT mentioned in the careers leaflet from St Mungo's would be useful for a Healer to study, and why? Use examples from the HP books in your answer.
2. Create a charm, spell or potion that could be used by a Healer. Explain what it is for, what is in it/how it is performed, and any other information you feel it is necessary to include.

Extra Credit
1. Discuss an instance of a witch or wizard who has displayed a greater resilience to injury than a muggle in the same situation might have (it doesn't matter if your witch or wizard was flying a broom at the time, or whatever!). Include any explanation that seems reasonable for this resilience. (5pt)

2. What might you use to treat a witch or wizard suffering from severe toothache (bear in mind that once an infection is in the root of a tooth, it cannot usually be removed without drilling into that tooth and removing the live tissue)? (5pt)

3. Do you think that a muggle would respond in the same way to a healing potion or spell as a witch or wizard would? Why/why not? (5pt)

4. Since the inhabitants of the wizarding world suffer from minor ailments in the same way as muggles, do you think that St Mungo's is the only port of call for the ill witch or wizard? Do they have family doctors? Must they buy their healing potions at a wizarding pharmacy (an apothecary, perhaps), or can they make their own? Any other thoughts on the wizarding healthcare system? (15 pt)
