Welcome to Principles of Magical Healing!

This full-year class provides an introductory guide for the aspiring Healer. It describes how some of the branches of magic found in the Harry Potter universe are used in magical medicine (with some educated guesses and conjecture to fill in the gaps). for the first half of the year, we look at the various magical disciplines, and then in the second half of the year, we start to apply this knowledge to how healing might actually be practiced in the magical world.

This is an intensive class, and it is not one to go for if you're looking for an easy ride. The assignments are not overly difficult, but they are challenging and they require you to think a bit and use some imagination.

Please familiarise yourselves with the class website and forum, and my expectations for handing in assignments - this knowledge will make your life (and mine!) a lot easier!
